I'm guessing this is a hawk, but I am no expert! So if you know, please let me know in a comment! I'm pretty happy with how well it turned out at 16x zoom on my Canon Powershot!

Heather, I, too, think it is a hawk. Beautiful shot. When I enlarged it, I could see you had a real still hand for that photo. It wouldn't surprise me if someone who knew hawks could ID it by the color on the wings and tail. DaddyO
