Day 17: Orchard under Inversion

My husband went up to La Grande a couple nights ago and said it was 33 degrees with a beautiful starry sky. I imagine the sunrises there must be amazing! We remain socked in under this inversion. Everything is still frozen and we haven't seen the sun in a while.

If you look really closely, you can see the blurry evidence of a flock of starlings that invades the orchard everyday. They love to eat the leftover apples, and I love to watch them fly in formation! I wanted a picture of that, but ran out of battery.
